Dear Macaron Lover
The Macaron was first introduced to France by Italian Chefs of Queen Catherine De Medici during the Renaissance Period. Since the 19th Century, a typical Parisian - Style Macaron has been known as a meringue-based almond cookies sandwiches together with jam, buttercream, or ganache. The special characteristic that made the Macarons unique is their smooth and lightly crispy surface, lightly chewy interior, including its ruffled circumference, the crown or the foot and a flat base.
